The main goal of Fly Studio is to record everything together as live sessions in the Main Room, making use of dividing screens to dampen bleed in the different mic's at a workable level.
Entering the studio is via the garage. This also means you can drive inside and unload your gear there, directly at the door of the Main Room. This room is about 30m2, and besides being acoustically treated for recording purposes, it also consists of a good PA system, drums and a bass amp for rehearsals. The sound of the room is still quite live so it's nice to play in, and everything sounds open and clear.
Behind the Main Room, on the left side, is the Control Room. Acoustically treated as a listening environment, it is also possible to record acoustic guitar or vocals here. Windows to the Main Room and Iso Booth give good visibility of the whole space. To the right is a small Isolation Booth, nearly completely dead in sound, perfect for singing vocals and voice recording, or a super dry guitar amp sound.
